Where the currently available optimizer systems optimize the system on module level, taylor electronics individually optimize the performance of solar cells, resulting in up to 20% more power.
Safe voltage
taylor. modules only provide power when necessary, following Sunspec protocol. If you power down the gateway, your solar panel will only produce 1 volt per panel. This also means that during installation or maintenance, the solar panels are completely safe.
Less MC4 connectors needed
With integrated CSO’s less MC4 connectors are needed, which lowers install costs & risk of installation mistakes.
Overtemperature
Overtemperature protection and module-level shutdown lowers (fire) risk.

In a taylor system you can only use compatible inverters, tested and approved by taylor. In the taylor.planner, in the tab "design" you can select the drop down menu under "type inverter" for the full list of compatible inverters.
See below a general overview of compatible inverters:
Solis
Goodwe
Fox
AEG
Yes, it is possible to use multiple stings with one gateway. In this case, take 1 DC cable of both and route them through the gateway. Please note that you cannot connect 2 strings on 1 MPPT on your inverter. For 2 strings use 2 seperate MPPT connections on your inverter. E.g. string 1 to MPPT 1 and string 2 to MPPT 2.
